Pound Cake -
3 c. of sugar
4 sticks of butter, softened
6 eggs, at room temperature
4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
¾ c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract

Glaze -
1 c. confectioners sugar
½ c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. lemon extract

Preheat oven to 350º.

Pound Cake - Combine sugar and butter and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture, alternating with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in extracts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Cool five minutes and turn out of pan onto cake plate.

Glaze - Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour over warm cake.

Warning! (There's a reason it's called "Pound" Cake!)
