1 Cup Lard or Shortening

1 cup Buttermilk

2 Eggs

2 1/2 Cups Flour

1/2 cup Hershey cocoa

2 teaspoons Soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 cup boiling water

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
ºMix sugar ,Lard or shortening . Buttermilk and eggs set aside.

Sift together Flour , cocoa, soda ,and salt.

Mix into first mixture and then pour boiling water and vanilla into mixture.

Bake at 350º for 25 to 35 minutes
