Ingredients:  
½ cup shortening
⅔ cup sugar
1 egg well beaten
¾ cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
2 cups puffed wheat, lightly crisped in butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients, add shortening, egg, vanilla and puffed wheat.
Drop on cookie sheets and bake at 350ºF for 12-15 minutes.

Can be doubled successfully.
