1 ½ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup sugar
1 e88
½/ cup milk
3 TBS shortening (or oil)
¼ cup jam


Struedal:
2 TBS butter
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup flour
Mix until crumbly.
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and sugar. Combine with flour, the egg, milk, and shortening. Stir until smooth. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Make holes in batter, add jam. Pour over this all the struedal crumbs.


Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. If you double the recipe bake
