1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon juice
3½ c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
5 ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice. Mix well.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to the butter mixture.
Combine bananas and sour cream. Add and blend well. Fold in nuts.
Pour into two 9 x 5 in. loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 1½ hours.

You can easily make ½ of this recipe if you wish. Very good but I seldom use nuts.
