Pumpkin Mixture:
1½ cooked or canned pumpkin
¾ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 slightly beaten eggs
1-6 oz can evaporated milk
1¼ milk

Pie Shell:
2¼ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¾ cup spry
5 tablespoons cold water

Directions:
Directions:
pie mixture:
thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, and spices
add eggs and milk
pour into 9-inch pastry shell
bake in hot oven at 450º for 10 minutes
lower temperature to 325º for about 50 minutes or until mixture doesn't adhere to the knife

shell mixture:
mix dry ingredients and break up with fingers
then add 5 tablespoons cold water
bake at 460º for 10-15 minutes
