1 lb. butter
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Mix well with hand and roll out. Cut with diamond cookie cutter. Beat egg yolks and brush on. Sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs (roll toast with rolling pin). Then bake about ten min. at 350°. When cool, spread grape jelly on one cookie and sandwich another cookie on top. Roll in powder sugar.
