1 lb butter
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup ground almonds

Directions:

Mix and roll out. We use a shot glass to cut out the cookies.
Bake 350º for 10 minutes "watch they don't burn"

Spread raspberry jam on top of one cookie and place a plain cookie on top to make a sandwich.

Roll in sugar while still warm.

My Grandma always made these cookies for Christmas. I love that she used a shot glass to cut them out. My aunt, cousins and I still make them every year and we all use a shot glass for a cookie cutter
