2 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/2 C Sugar
1 C Brown Sugar
1/3 C White Chocolate Chips
1/3 C Butterscotch Chips
1/3 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 C Butter, softened
1/2 C Shortening
1 Egg, beaten
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:

Cream butter and shortening in a medium bowl.
Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Mix well.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Stir in chips. Cover and refrigerate until dough is chilled.
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or till lightly brown.

This recipe is great for layering into a wide mouth mason jar and presenting as a gift. Combine flour, baking soda, & salt. Pour into jar and tamp in. Layer sugar and brown sugar tamping aster each. Combine the three flavors of chips and put into jar. Adjust cap. Attach recipe to jar. Makes base for one recipe of cookies.


You can substitute milk chocolate chips, or peanut butter chips or you can add 1/3 C chopped nuts in place of one of the chips.
