Cucumbers, sliced onions and celery


1 qt. vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup salt (scant)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the vinegar, sugar and salt to hot and have ready to pour into jars when the cucumbers are ready.

Soak cucumbers in clear water 6 hours or longer.
Cut in lengths, pack in jars with sliced onions and celery.

Pour the hot vinegar mixture over them.
