Sift together:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Cream:
1 cup margarine or shortening or do half & half
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Mix in:
1 cup quick rolled oats
2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add both sugars, beat & add eggs & vanilla.

Add flour mixture beating until smooth

Mix in oats & coconut

Bake on a cookie sheet using a spoon to measure out the size of your desired cookie.

BAKE AT 375 DEGREES 7 TO 9 MINUTES

MAY DOUBLE RECIPE: to make 5 dozen cookies
