Three cans of water
One can of tomato sauce
One jar of homemade jarred, tomato chunks, or in absence of this one can of tomato chunks
One medium onion, chopped
Two cloves Garlic sliced
Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese grated
Sprinkle of oregano
One bay leaf
Tablespoon of sugar

Mix everything together in a big soup pot. Cook over a low rolling heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until thickened.
