(2) 6 c. sugar
(2) 6 c. Crisco
(3) 9 eggs

(1) 3 tsp.
(1) 3 c. buttermilk

(4) 12 c. flour
(3) 6 tsp. baking powder
(1/2) 1 tsp. salt
(2) 6 tsp. nutmeg
(1) 3 Tbsp. vanilla

Filling:
(4) 12 c. chopped raisins
(1) 3 c. sugar
(4) 12 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and Crisco. Add eggs and blend.
Mix in soda and buttermilk together in separate bowl.
Sift together dry ingredients. Alternately add milk and dry ingredients to cream mixture. Mix well. Chill overnight.

Roll out 1/4" thick. Cut out with 2 1/2" round cutter. Sprinkle with sugar before baking at 400º for 8-10 minutes

Cook filling ingredients in just enough water to cover, until mixture thickens.
