2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 C sugar
2 oz cream cheese, cut into 8 pieces
6 Tbs butter, melted
1/3 C vegetable oil
1 egg
1 Tbs milk
2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º.

In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In large bowl, add sugar and cream cheese. Add warm butter and whisk to combine. Whisk in oil until incorporated. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; continue to whisk until smooth. Add flour mixture and mix until dough forms.

Working with 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into 24 balls. Roll balls in 1/3 cup sugar to coat. Place onto baking sheets and flatten until 2 inches in diameter. Sprinkle tops evenly with 4 teaspoons of sugar.

Bake 11-13 minutes until edges are set and just beginning to brown. Cool on wire racks 5 minutes.
