1c sugar
2 eggs
½c butter or margarine
1spt cream of tarter
½tsp baking soda
2½-3c flour
1tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Roll thin and cut with holiday cookie cutters. Decorate with colored sugar. Bake at 375º on greased cookie sheet until slightly brown. Can also be frosted when completely cool .
Can also be made with Cup 4 Cup gluten free flour but may require additional flour to roll..
