1 Cup Butter (2 sticks)
3 1/2 Cups plain flour
2 Cups Sugar
1 Box seedless raisins (2 1/2 Cups)
1 Tablespoon ground Allspice
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
2 Cups Hot Water
2 teaspoons soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Add raisins, margarine, sugar and spices to 2 Cups of boiling water. Boil 5 minutes. Take off heat and add soda. Stir until foaming stops. Then add flour and mix.
Grease and flour tube pan. Pour mix into pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
