1 Round day-old French Bread loaf
1/3 c olive oil
2 cloves garlic, pressed, minced wicked fine or grated
1-1½ Lbs Brie

Directions:
Directions:
Shell out bread loaf leaving 1/2 inch shell and base
Around rim, make 1½" cuts
Cube the bread from the middle of the loaf (bite-sized pieces)

Mix garlic into olive oil and let sit for a little while

Brush inside of bread with 3T olive oil/garlic mixture, brush cubes with remaining oil.
Cut cheese into small squares to fit into bread shell
Place on large baking sheet with cubed bread

Bake 10 mins @ 350º

Remove cubes and continue baking shell until edges are golden - maybe 10 more mins.

I always put the bread cubes on at the end of the baking, rather than the beginning.

I remember the first time I made this for the kids.... - it was the Thanksgiving we didn't have a turkey... I made this and steamed clams..do you remember?
