3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsps baking powder
1/2 tso sea salt
1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs (room temperature)
3 tsps vanilla extract
1 cup spinkles ( Plus extra for topping)

1) In a medium bowl whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together
2) In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle beat butter and sugar together on medium high speed for about 1 minute.
3) Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat on high speed for about 1 to 2 minutes until combined
4) Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mix on low until combined, then add 1 cup of sprinkles
5) Rolled into 1 inch diameter balls, place on parchment covered cookie sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours
6) Preheat oven to 350 F ~ 177 C
7) Line backing sheets with parchment
8) With a medium size round cookie cutter ( 1 to 1 1/2" in diameter ), place cookie cutter on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle about 1/4 tsp of sprinkles in the cookie cutter place 1 ball of cookie dough into the cookie cutter and with the palm of your hand press the dough into the cookie cutter on the sprinkles.
9) Puch the round cookie dough out of the cookie cutter and place it on the cookie sheert lined with parchment sprinkle side up.
10) Place round sprinkled cookie doughs about 3 inches apart, bake from 12 to 14 minutes or untill lightly browned on the edges
11) Remove from the cookie sheet and place on a wire rack to cool
12) Cookies will stay fresh for about one week at room temperature
