1 Tablespoon of Butter
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Molasses
1 Egg
½ Teaspoon of Salt
½ Teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 Cup of Buttermilk
1 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º
2. Cream Butter and Sugar together
3 Add Egg, Molasses
4. Sift Flour, salt and Baking Soda and add to the Butter & Sugar mixture
5. Add the Cornmeal and mix
6 Grease (Oblong) Pyrex Baking dish and pour batter into it
7. Bake until cake is golden color and toothpick comes out clean
