2 Cup Sugar
1 cup shortening (not butter)
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 well beaten eggs
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add bananas and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together three times. Blend wet and dry ingredients. Do not overmix. Pour into two lightly greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350.
