4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup buttermilk
1 scant of soda
3 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp of flavoring ( vanilla, almond, hazelnut)

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients with softened butter,
Mix to a soft dough, chill, or add flour if too soft.
Roll, cut, sprinkle with sugar (or frost when cooled)

Bake at 400º for 8 to 10 minutes.
