¾ c brown sugar
¾ c white sugar
1 c shortening
2 eggs
1 tbsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla

1½ c flour
2 c rolled oats
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
12 pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugars and shortening until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla and hot water.
Mix together dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.Place the cookie dough on a lined or greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes depending on the size of cookie dough balls.
