Grandma's Jello Fruit Salad Recipe

2 c boiling water divided
2 c ice - divided
1 pkg orange Jello
1 pkg lemon Jello
1 - 20 oz can crushed pineapple(drain and save liquid)
2 c mini marshmallows
3 large bananas sliced
½ c shredded cheddar cheese

Salad Dressing:
1 c pineapple juice
1 egg beaten
½ c sugar
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp butter
1 c cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl combine 1 c boiling water and lemon jello and stir until dissolved.
Add 1c ice cubes and stir until melted. Add drained pineapple.
Pour into a 9x13 pan and refirgerate until set.
When that layer is set make the orange jello with 1c boiling water stiring until dissolved. Add 1c ice and stir until melted. Mix in marshmallow and pour over the first layer of jello. Put in refrigerator until set

Dressing: in a pan, combine small amount of pineapple juice with corn starch and mix. add the rest of the juice,sugar egg,butter. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next day arrange bananas over Jello. Combine cool whip with the dressing and spread over the bananas. Sprinkle with cheese.
