"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Super easy!
Boil entire box of elbow macaroni and rinse
Let it cool entirely

Boil 4 eggs to hard boil and let cool after peeling
Chop the eggs into small bite size pieces and set aside

Drain the canned peas and set aside

In a large bowl, mix elbow macaroni with a generous amount of mayonaise...1 - 1 1/2 cups. Add chopped eggs, chopped onion and drained peas. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let it set all night. It may be necessary to add more mayo the next day of the macaroni was warm and it absorbed the mayo.

Note: you may also decide to add drained tuna fish if you like. About 1/2 a can

Personal Notes:
Peas are something you don't see in many mac salads but that's the only way Grandma made it. Love it.
