1 cup butter or oleo
½ cup powered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2½ cup flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup finely chopped pecans

1 cup powered sugar - for rolling
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar; add vanilla, add flour and salt and nuts. Mix well.
Form into dime-size balls, or flatten if preferred!!

Bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes - while cookies are still hot roll in powdered sugar, set on cooling rack - after cookies are cooled roll again in powdered sugar.
