1lb butter
1c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4c flour
2c finely crushed Lay's potato chips
1c chopped walnuts (or pecans)
Powdered sugar for sprinkling on baked cookies

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients until combined. Drop or roll size of a walnut and press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with powdered sugar once completely cool.

These were given to Mary by her friend June Griffiths. They are very good cookies. The recipe card had 1978 on it. The current recipes online don't have nuts so could be made either way. Mary's notes said that she used walnuts.
