1½ lbs ground beef
½ lb ground sausage
1 t salt
¼ t pepper
Lawry's™ seasoned salt
½ green pepper, diced
1 small jar pimentos
1 C cracker crumbs
1 C milk
2 eggs

Piquant sauce
⅓ C ketchup
½ t sugar
dash of pepper
1 t vinegar
1 t worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. It works best to do this with your hands. Pat into loaf pan; makes 2 small or 1 large loaf.
Bake 325º for about 1 hour.
Mix ingredients for piquant sauce & spoon over meatloaf last 10-15 minutes.

This meatloaf recipe came from Grandma Lela Naomi Hester (1897-1989) of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her husband, Hubert Roy, died May 20, 1956, the day before Marilyn was born. They were Kenneth Hester's parents.
