2 ¼ c. All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c. Light brown sugar lightly packed
½ c. White sugar
1 c. Unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 c. Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1) preheat oven to 350ºF

2) beat together butter and sugars until creamy, then add eggs 1 at a time beating thoroughly between, then add vanilla.

3) in a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.

4) slowly add dry ingredients to wet, be careful to not over-mix.

5) gently fold in chocolate chips.

6) bake 8-10 minutes. They should appear very slightly underbaked for the perfect chewy cookie.

I came up with this recipe when I was 14 this was the first recipe I made of my own. I’ve tweaked it a bit over the last 11 years, and now we have the perfect cookies!
