1 cup corn syrup
2 cups sugar
½ stick butter
3 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
1 tsp salt

Food coloring
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp baking soda

Popcorn, big roaster pan full, salt well and old maids removed

Directions:
Directions:
Boil ingredients except vanilla and food coloring in heavy saucepan to 285º Add vanilla and food coloring and then the soda. It will foam up. Make sure all soda is dissolved

Cool just a bit and then pour quickly. Over popcorn, stirring to cover it all. Use gloves and butter them, form into balls. You can add peanuts to the syrup also

Try more butter and salt next time, they’re a little flat.
