1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening (can substitute butter)
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 TBLS. water
3 Tbsp. milk
3 mashed bananas
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º Bake: 1 hour

Mix 1 cup sugar and ½ cup shortening together until smooth.
Add 2 eggs, the dissolved soda, and milk.
Alternate adding the mashed bananas and flour to creamed mixture
Add Vanilla

This has been the best banana bread recipe I have ever made, whenever I try a different one I come back to Grandma Howards.(Dolores is Scotts mom) Its always moist and yummy!
