1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup Crisco oil
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, then add flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Add this to the first mixture. Mix well. Cover dough and regrigerate overnight or for 2 hours. Place dough in 1 inch balls on cookie sheet (greased) Mix granulated sugar in small bowl. Grease bottom of glass and dip in sugar. Press down on cookie ball until flat and round. Bake 350 until light brown.
