1 cup butter (I use 1/2 cup butter & 1/2 cup Crisco butter flavored shortening)
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups sugar
4 eggs - beaten
2 T milk
5 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, vanilla, and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat eggs with milk and stir into creamed mixture. Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Add 1 cup flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add remaining flour mixture and mix well. Chill dough 1-2 hours. Roll on floured surface and cut out cookies. Bake at 375º
