⅔ cup butter
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
3 tsp. Vanilla
1 egg
2 and ¼ of flour
½ baking soda
½ Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter sugars , and vanilla. Add egg. Mix in dry ingredients.Roll to ¼ inch thickness. Cut out as desired. Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes .

This was my great grandmas recipe. We would always go visit her in Hanley she lived in her house in Hanley until she was 98 years old. Right up until than she would bake cookies and always have sprite for everyone to drink.
