4 eggs
1 c sugar
1 c oil
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling


3/4 c walnuts, crushed
3/4 c brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp butter, softened

Beat eggs, add sugar and oil. Beat well. Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Put half the batter in greased 9 x 13" pan. Spoon can of cherry pie filling evenly on top. Drizzle the other half of the batter over the pie filling.

Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over cake batter. Bake at 350 for 40 - 50 minutes.
