Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 tablespoons of salted butter
1/2 cup white sugar (I like to use raw cane sugar with a coarser texture)
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (6.75 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt (but I always add a little extra)
3/4 cup chocolate chips (I use a combination of chocolate chips and chocolate
chunks)

Directions:
Directions:
1.You start by melting the butter in the microwave, fully melting it through. 2.Mix the butter with some sugar until it's fluffy and creamy. 3.Add eggs and don't mix the eggs too much. 4.After the eggs add in all your dry ingredients, like flour, baking soda, and salt. 5.And now it comes for the finishing touches, THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS. 6.After you've done all of this, it's time for baking.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When preparing cookies one must feel inspired. If the preparer of cookies is upset the cookies will turn out burnt. They taste like the feeling when you get under a warm blanket in christmas. Like the feeling of Christmas when you are a kid. My two favorite memories of these cookies are when I first tried them when I was six years old on Christmas Eve, and my second memory is the most recent time I had them because of how good they are. The moment my mom opened that jar, the smell of cookies transported me into the afternoon they were just cookie dough. Cookies can cure any sadness, at least that's what my aunt's firm belief. And I believe it too. Although I hadn't given it sufficient credit for some time.
