1 can - chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained
2 - garlic cloves
1½ T. - olive oil
2 T. - sesame tahini
1 to 2 - chipotle chilesin adobo sauce
½ tsp. - crushed red pepper
1 bunch (handful) - cilantro
juice of 1 lemon
1 T. - sugar
2 to 3 slices - roasted red pepper

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

It's good with tortilla chips (especially blue corn chips), pita bread, etc. It's too thick for potato chips. You can substitute a couple of sun-dried tomatoes for the red peppers for variety.
