2 c sifted flour 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp salt 4-6 tbsp shortening 2/3-3/4 c milk
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in shortening. Add milk and stir with fork until soft dough is formed, about 20 strokes. Can be rolled out, but I just drop on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 425º oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
