1 cup butter
3 eggs
Pinch of salt
4 slices candied pineapple
½ lb. candied cherries (*or 16 oz pineapple & cherries combined)
1½ cups pecans
3 cups plain flour
1 box raisins
½ cup dates
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda

Combine butter & sugar, then slowly beat in 1 egg at a time. Then mix flavoring in batter. Sift flour, baking soda, & cinnamon into batter, mix well. Then add fruit, raisins, & dates. Drop teaspoon fulls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
