1 c margarine or butter (softened)
½ powered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 ¼ c flour (white or whole wheat)
¼ salt
¾ c finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)*
Powered sugar for coating

*Nuts can be omitted but they are much better with them!

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Mix margarine, powered sugar and vanilla
In a small bowl, combine flour, salt and nuts and add to above; mix until combined
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake until set but not brown, approx 10-12 min.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly but still warm. Roll in powered sugar and let cool. Roll in powered sugar again
