1 c butter
1 c oil
1 c granulated sugar
1 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
4 ½ c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well.
Roll dough in balls and then in granulated sugar.
Flatten with a fork, crossed in the middle.
Bake at 350º about 9-12 minutes.

You can change the season or event by using colored sugar to roll or sprinkle on top before baking.
