Notes: This is Grandma Yvonne's special German recipe and such a treat when visiting her house for Christmas. She always make her home so inviting and warm for the holidays! I remember one particular Christmas we traveled to Spring Green and she had not just the beautiful Christmas tree in the living room, but one decorated with gardening ornaments on the back porch and a garland with cooking ornaments in the kitchen! And she always has yummy things to eat and candles glowing. Home for the Holidays will always mean mom's house and Spring Green to me!
