2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup oil
1/4 cup milk

APPLE FILLING
3 large apples, 4 medium
3 TBSP. sugar
pinch of salt
l TBSP cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Boil till medium soft. Let cool

Flour in mixing bowl, add salt. Oil in measuring cup, add milk-do not stir.
Add flour and stir with fork till pie dough consistency. Divide into two
balls.

Wet board and cover with wax paper about 15 inches. Put one ball on wax paper and flatten with palm of hand. Cover with another 15 inch long wax paper. Roll out to about 12" x 6"-handle with care, lift edges with knife before adding apple filling. Handle with care. Using wax paper fold long sides over apple filling then fold up ends. Carefully lift strudel with wax paper and roll onto cookie sheet.
Egg wash. Bake 350 for 30 min. or till golden brown
