5 1/4 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar

Cut in:
1 cup shortening
1 cup margarine

Store in covered container in refrigerator.

To make cookies:

Mix 2 cups cookie mix
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 tbsp milk

Add raisons, chopped nuts, chocolate chips if desired.

Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
