CRUST:
2 Sticks Butter, melted
2 c Flour
2 c Nuts, finely chopped
FILLING:
4 T Butter, melted
4 Egg Yolks
4 T Cocoa
2 t Vanilla
⅛ t Salt
2 c Sugar
1 c Flour
4 c Whole Milk
MERINGUE:
4 Egg Whites, beaten until stiff peaks are formed
4 T Sugar
2 t Vanilla
½ T Cream of Tartar (1½ t)

Or instead of meringue use Cool Whip.

Directions:
CRUST: Mix all crust ingredients together and press into the bottom of the 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Cool completely.
FILLING: In a large, heavy pan, combine all filling ingredients and cook over medium heat until desired thickness. Don't make too thick. Pour over crust.
MERINGUE: In a cold bowl, mix all meringue ingredients and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Cover the pie with the meringue and bake at 350º until it is lightly golden.
OR: Use Cool Whip instead of meringue and don't bake.
