1 cup crisco
1/3 cup sour milk
2 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
4 cup flour
2/3 cup black walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream together crisco, sour milk, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend together flour, nutmeg, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add walnuts. Gradually add and stir the dry ingredients into the batter until well blended. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Press to flatten a little before baking. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
