1. 1 cup + 2 Tbsp unsifted flour
2. ½ tsp baking soda
3. ½ tsp salt
4. ½ cup butter, softened
5. 6 Tbsp sugar
6. 6 Tbsp brown sugar, firmly packed
7. ½ tsp vanilla extract
8. 1 egg
9. 6 oz package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate chips
10. ½ cup nuts, chopped

1. Preheat oven to 375º. Grease 9" x 9" square pan.
2. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
3. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. then beat in egg.
4. Gradually add in flour mixture and mix well.
5. Mix in nuts and chocolate chips.
6. Spread the cookie dough evenly in greased pan.
7. Bake at 375º for 20-25 minutes.
8. Cool and cute into 16 squares.
