Cake

1 pkg white cake
1 ¼ c water
⅓ c oil
1 c. coarsely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies

Frosting

3 c powdered sugar
¾ c shortening
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites

Cake

Heat oven to 350º. Grease and flour 13x9 in pan. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients except crushed cookies at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Gently stir in cookies. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 to 25 minutes. Cool completely.

Frosting

In small bowl, combine ½ C of powdered sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg white. Blend well. Beat in remaining powdered sugar until frosting is smooth and frost the top of the cake. Garnish as desired.
