2 1/4 cup APF
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 sticks softened butter
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 2/3 cup (one 10 oz bag) chocolate chips
1 cup black walnuts

Optional recipe -
3 c. instant oats and reduce flour to 1/1/4 cup

preheat oven to 375
combine dry ingredients
cream butter and sugars
add eggs one at a time and then vanilla
beat in flour mix gradually
add chocolate and nuts at the end

bake 11-15 minutes on parchment, let sit on baking sheets for two minutes before moving

This is a family favorite because Stockton is the world capital for Black Walnuts!!!
It can be modified to be made with oatmeal and bananas for a healthier take

If you want to make these into Oatmeal BW Choco Chip, reduce the flour to 1 and1/4 cup and add in 3 cups instant oats at end
