For each quart of juice:

1/4 c sugar
1 c choke cherries
Boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Pick choke cherries and clean them. Sterilize quart jars in boiling water like you would for jelly. Boil several quarts of water in large pot. Add cherries and sugar to each hot jar. Fill up remaining space with boiling water. Seal with sterilized lids and bands. Process in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Let cool and allow 2-3 weeks (or longer) for best flavor.
