1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon SALT
4 cups flour
3 egg yolks
1/2 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 jar apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, crisco, and sugar, then add egg yolks, sour cream, and vanilla. Blend in salt and flour. Knead dough 10-15 minutes, but in bowl and refrigerate overnight. Roll to 1/8 inch and cut into 2 inch squares. Put spoonful of apricot preserves in center and pinch two opposite corners together. bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

I don't remember having these cookies at Nana's but Aunt Rose Ann gave me Nana's recipe.
